"God does not want to be called on from one place more than another, but from any place where God is called upon in spirit and truth he says: Here am I."
Jesus freed us from appointed places of worship and we can now come directly to the Father in prayer. John 4:23 states "But the hour is coming, and is now here, when true worshipers will worship in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him." Not only did God provide direct access but he is also seeking people who will worship in spirit and in truth. Our God desires our presence before his throne. He wants to be called on, so he searches for true worshipers who will worship him in spirit and truth. What an encouraging reminder of the privilege we have and a challenge towards being true worshipers.
