1-2-3-4

Webber presents a model for worship that’s as easy as 1, 2, 3, 4!

> One Redeemed Creation

+ Two Participants: Divine and Human

+ Three recipients: The Trinity, and Three focuses: Content, Structure, and Style

+ Four aspects of worship: Gathering, Word, Table, and Sending Forth

= Blended Worship or as Webber believes, Biblical Worship.

Easy huh? Seriously though, I appreciate the systematic way Webber presents each aspect of worship. Webber, in his passion for true biblical worship in the church, shows wisdom and insight when he is able to look at the worship of the church (denominations) and see patterns and “blind spots.”(I'm not sure he is right in all of his evaluations, but thee effort is definitely apparent) Not only does he do this, but, he goes on to form a plan on how to remove the blind spots and have a more biblical worship. The reason Webber is able to do this is because he has a firm foundation of the scriptures and theology also I believe he is very astute in his observations of history. These combined give him insight more than that of the common man because how many of us see our blind spots so that we may fix them?
