F = (MxL)/(TxT)

“If the Lord whom I serve has been pleased to favour me with that mediocrity of talent, which may qualify me for usefulness to the weak and poor of his flock, without quite disgusting persons of superior discernment, I have reason to be satisfied.” (p. 147)

In this paragraph Newton had said, “Yeah, Watts, he was basically a boss. I just hope I’m good enough to serve the least of these without insulting others’ intelligence.” (New Living Translation) I was struck by his modesty and sincere desire to serve through his gifts. “It behoved me to do my best.”
