Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

Webber's article was a very good and articulate explanation of what "Blended Worship" is all about. What I most appreciated was his reasoning of what the content should be to our worship gatherings. "Here, then, is what worship does. It acknowledges the transcendence, the great glory and incomprehensible nature of God the Father. It tells the story from beginning to end of how God created, how the world fell away from Him, how He became involved in the history of the world in Israel and in His incarnation in Jesus to rescue the world through His death, resurrection, and coming in glory to reign as Lord over all creation." (181) Where I tended to disagree with him was his high view of the Sacrament and how he represented the Spirit being unleashed in it. His understanding of the Spirit, though Biblically supported (181), did not say much to the point that the Spirit comes forth from the Father and the Son to glorify the Son (John 16:14). He does raise a good point though: how are we to engage with a church culture these days that desires to include the Spirit in worship (such terms as "Spirit-filled" and "Spirit-led" worship) when their definition of Spirit-led is not merely to glory even more then in the Gospel?
