In his response, Best brought up an issues that I thought was thought provoking in light of Williams’ article. On page 156 Best asked a question that I believe should be asked in any worship form or style. His question was, “How do charismatics behave during the week?” a simple yet vital question. How does my worship on Sunday affect my actions on Monday? This is not a new concept however an important one. Does the way we worship, worship God through the Spirit in the Gospel of Christ? Does it give tools to the congregation? Weapons? Defense? As we already discussed music is so powerful because it goes straight to the heart. Are we using that to our advantage in this battle? If so how can it not affect how we live on Monday.
